Alex Hgh Andersen is a Danish actor, model, and photographer who was born on May 20, 1994. His most famous performance was as Ivar the Boneless in the historical drama Vikings on television (2016–2020).

Andersen enjoys devoting a lot of his time to photography while he is not acting. He considers himself to be visually-minded, and as a result of his experience producing and directing short films, he keeps learning more and more about cameras. He also picked up skills in sports, fencing, stunts, dancing, and singing.

He enrolled in college in 2014 but left after the first semester to work on Vikings in Ireland in 2015.
