Alexee Trevizo Confesses to Leaving Her Newly Born in Trashcan To Die?
After being charged with first-degree murder for allegedly drowning her unborn child in a hospital trash can, Alexee Trevizo entered a not-guilty plea.
Police were told by the 19-year-old that the baby had already died at birth. Alexee’s allegations were disproved by an autopsy, which found that the infant had air in his lungs and no deformities typical of a stillbirth.
The mother of Alexee Trevizo forewarned daughter that she might end up in jail.
Medical personnel, police, and Alexee’s mother confronted her after discovering the dead infant in a trash bag, according to body cam footage made public by the authorities. The doctor explains, “We found a dead baby in the restroom.
Trevizo complained of lower back pain and went to the hospital. Alexee locked herself in the toilet and denied having sex despite tests showing she was pregnant. After convincing her to finally unlock the bathroom door, medical staff discovered her trying to mop up blood.
On March 28, 2023, detectives from the Artesia Police Department provided the 5th Judicial District Attorney’s Office with case information. On May 10, 2023, a criminal complaint was authorized, and the suspect and victim’s mother were officially charged.
It will be up to Alexee’s parents to make sure she abides by the conditions of her release. If Alexee breaks the terms of her bond, the police will re-arrest her. She was freed on a $100,000 unsecured bond by Eddy County District Judge David Finger. She will be free to go to class and complete her education.

Alexee is not under home arrest and will not wear an ankle monitor. She must, however, follow a 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. curfew and go to counseling. She can only go out of state to visit family in Texas. The judge ruled against any additional out-of-state travel.
