Was The Shooter Identified?

According to WCAU-TV, the incident occurred on South Street in Philadelphia soon before midnight EDT. During a news conference early Sunday, Police Inspector D. F. Pace said officers patrolling the downtown Philadelphia area heard many gunshots and witnessed several suspects firing into a big crowd.

According to Philadelphia police, the victims were Kristopher Minners, 22, Alexis Quinn, 27, and Gregory “Japan” Jackson, 34.

Quinn was shot in the rib cage, according to police, and was declared dead at Jefferson University Hospital, according to WPVI-TV. According to the news station, Minnes was shot in the rear and later confirmed dead at Jefferson University Hospital. According to investigators, Jackson was shot twice in the chest and twice in the stomach. According to WPVI, he was transferred to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, eventually dying.
