Biography:

Antony Starr was born on 25 October 1975 in Auckland, New Zealand. He made his debut in an episode of Xena: Warrior Princess in 1995. He appeared on the same show the following year with a different character. In the following decade, he became more active as a television actor in New Zealand. He guest starred on the show Shortland Street. At the same time, he starred on another New Zealand show Mercy Peak.

In 2003, he made his film debut in Skin & Bone. He has since appeared in the movies In My Father’s Den, Without a Paddle, The World’s Fastest Indian, and No. 2. He also became known for his role on the New Zealand series Outrageous Fortune where he played the role of Jethro West / Van West from 2005 to 2010. He next joined the main cast of the Australian show Rush. From 2013 to 2016, he became known as Lucas Hood on the American series Banshee. His most recent movie was in 2012’s Wish You Were Here.
