Candice Coleman Dies From Cancer, Age, Bio, “News4JAX Reporter”

Candice Coleman spent two years covering the news for News4JAX.
After a brief cancer struggle, she passed away on Sunday morning. The woman was only 52 years old. In her last moments, her fiance Keith Petrofsky was by her side.

The weekend was spent with her, her son Logan, and her best friend, Nesia Campbell.

Coleman was an employee of Channel 4 from 1999 to 2001 before moving on to our Orlando affiliate, WKMG.
She has spent the years since then working in public relations and writing instead.

Coleman is remembered as someone who dared to do everything he set his mind to. When she traveled aboard a nuclear submarine and the captain allowed her take the wheel, it was one of her most memorable on-air moments with the station.

The details of Coleman’s funeral have not been disclosed.
