Following the death by shooting on Wednesday night of a 17-year-old, Cedar Rapids Police are conducting an investigation.

They are looking for any video that may have been captured by anyone who happened to be nearby.

At 10:09 p.m., according to the police, a disturbance was reported in the 3500 block of Oakland Road NE.

Officers arrived on the site and discovered a 17-year-old with what appeared to be an upper torso gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.
