Deborah Anne Boone is a singer, songwriter, and actor from the United States. She is best known for her 1977 single “You Light Up My Life,” which spent ten weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned her the Grammy Award for Best New Artist the following year.

Boone’s fame, as well as the popularity of her most successful hit song, were raised in 2012 when she was named the official ambassador for Lifestyle Lift, a company that does facial and neck cosmetic operations.

Boone began touring at the age of 14 with her parents and three sisters: Cherry, Lindy, and Laury. The sisters first recorded with their parents as The Pat Boone Family, then as the Boones or Boone Girls.
