Does Millie Bobby Brown have a disability?

Millie Bobby Brown, who rose to fame as a result of the Netflix series Stranger Things, was thrust to the stage at the age of 12. She does a fantastic job of embodying Eleven, one of the key heroines in the Duffer brothers’ book.

Despite her impressive career, acting hasn’t always come naturally to Millie Bobby Brown.

Even though it has become worse over the years, Millie Bobby Brown has never let her disability stand in the way of her success. In fact, the actress had admitted to Variety in 2017 that she was born with a partial hearing loss in one ear.

She no longer has any hearing on that side. She nevertheless discovered a workaround for her impairment: “You can talk with your face. It’s very easy for someone to say ‘I’m pissed off. I’m sad. I’m angry’. I do it with my face.”

She acknowledges that she doesn’t always hear the director yell “action” on set, but this partial hearing loss won’t make the actress, who also enjoys singing, lose her self-assurance: “If I sing out of tune, I don’t care, because I like to sing. You don’t have to have a nice voice. You don’t have to know how to dance or sing. If you really like to do it, if it’s really a passion, do it. No one should stop you.”

Nevertheless, the actress from Eleven has achieved success in her field. Along with landing numerous leading roles, the actress has established her own self-care-focused beauty line called Florence by Mills.
