Ethan Huff dies in all-terrain vehicle accident in Tuscarawas County’s Salem Township
One man died and another was injured after an all-terrain vehicle crash around midnight Sunday, according to the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a report at 12:13 a.m. about a rollover crash involving a utility vehicle in a field at 13098 River Road SW between Port Washington and Newcomerstown.
Deputies arrived and were told that Ethan Huff, 21, of Sherrodsville, was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Another man, a 21-year-old from Port Washington, was taken to a hospital for his injuries. He was reported to be in critical condition. Deputy Grant Haun said the utility vehicle was going at a high rate of speed, hit a dip and then an embankment before it rolled over.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted with the scene. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
