Indications are that Travis Parsons has passed away, according to the latest reports we’ve received (November 17, 2022). It was a shocking and sudden loss for the entire community. Many people have reached out, wondering what took place.

Despite the sadness we feel at Travis’s untimely passing, we will forever cherish the memories he gave us. Travis, ever the party animal, would have been the first one to show up to a get-together with his preferred music selection and infectious dance moves. Everyone Travis encountered got to enjoy his sense of humor and warm grin. So much of what he brought to the table will be lost without him.

When things are rough, people and their relationships matter the most. Some of the finest are mine.
On Monday, I woke up and started reading a stream of messages from a group text with some of my closest friends. I have had the same friends for over thirty years.
The report wasn’t encouraging. To say the least, I was shocked and queasy.
During the previous five days, my mind has been in and out of fog. Every day, we checked in with the expectation that something positive would have happened. We talked on the phone, prayed, and comforted one another, as well as shared our tears.
I feel sad and numb, but I am also really grateful to be linked to some of the most incredible people on the earth. One could hardly hope for better friends than you.
Infinite respect and admiration to Travis, who will be sorely missed. Thanks to you, we now have wonderful stories to tell and wonderful memories to cherish. Your ability to make others giggle was a special talent. Never once did you try to be anybody but yourself, no matter who you were around. The community adored you for it.
Don’t worry about a thing. They may be gone, but they will never be forgotten. I have no doubt that our paths will cross once more.
