Tragic Loss of Denise Morgan in Suspected Queens Murder-Suicide

In a deeply saddening incident, an Irish woman met an untimely demise in New York, with local media reporting it as a suspected murder-suicide.

The victim, Denise Morgan, originally hailing from Tullyallen in Co Louth, was discovered alongside a man in the Glendale area of Queens in the early hours of the morning. Both individuals had suffered gunshot wounds.

The New York Police Department was alerted to the scene following a 911 call at approximately 2:44 a.m., responding to reports of “shots fired/persons shot.” Upon arrival, officers from the 104th precinct found both a man and a woman in an unconscious and unresponsive state in the residence’s second-floor living room. Tragically, both had sustained gunshot wounds.

Emergency services promptly attended the scene, but the 39-year-old woman, Denise Morgan, and the 33-year-old man were pronounced deceased at the scene. NYPD reported that a firearm was recovered in the vicinity of the deceased man.

He offered prayers for comfort and solace for her grieving family and friends as they navigate through this most agonizing time.
