Jeffrey Clark is an American lawyer who from 2018 to 2021, was Assistant Attorney General for the Environment and Natural Resources Division.

Jeffrey Clark is still employed.

Clark currently works as a Senior Fellow and Director of Litigation at the Center for Renewing America. This is a conservative think tank founded by Trump OMB Director Russell Vought.

Formerly, he worked for the Justice Department but resigned on January 14, 2021. Later in August 2021, he was named the Chief of Litigation and Director of Strategy for the New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA).

The NCLA, which is mainly funded by the Charles Koch Foundation, describes itself as a nonpartisan, nonprofit civil rights organization whose goal is to protect constitutional freedoms from violations by the Administrative State.

However, after he received a congressional subpoena due to his participation in the January 6 attack on the Capitol, his name was removed from the NCLA site.
