As Season 2 of Family Karma wrapped up on July 28, Brian shared with his friends in the season finale that he was unclear about the future. Well, Brian appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to offer an update, and it was in Wednesday’s show that Brian confirmed that he and Monica had broken up.
Her parents are divorced and she lives with her dad. She cooks for him and takes care of him. He wishes she could live with him once she gets married but that would probably be wrong. Well, not if she marries Brian. I can see him being just fine with that. It seems that Monica’s dad thinks Brian is just her “sidekick.”

It becomes clear that the divorce between Monica’s parents play a key part in Raj’s relationship with Monica. Raj feels guilty that he and his wife got divorced, and explained that it created friction with his family in India, where the idea of divorce was pretty taboo.
