Jack Lorentzen Obituary, Senior Manager of Customer Experience at Brooklinen
At his fiancé’s parents’ house in St. Louis, Missouri, Jack Lorentzen, who brought happiness into every space he entered, departed from this world to the next on Christmas Eve morning. Jack, who was thirty, was. About six minutes before his twin sister Charlotte was delivered on October 26, 1992, at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey, Jack was born. He had an incredibly happy childhood and Charlotte and he frequently enjoyed the company of friends.
Jack was a long-stick defensive when he was a young player for the Tri-State League in lacrosse. Jack has a very good swimming career in his older years. He competed on the swim teams of the Fanwood and Scotch Plains YMCA (FSPY) and the Westfield YMCA, where he set numerous records.
The swim team experienced great success throughout high school, including State Championship and State Final matches. Jack was also elected co-captain his senior year.
His parents, Susan and Kent Lorentzen of Brick, New Jersey, along with his older brother Adam, sister Charlotte, and fiancé Jack Ciapciak of New York City and St. Louis, Missouri, all survive Jack.
Whitney Weldon, one of Jack’s closest pals, has a disorder called Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva, which is extremely uncommon (FOP).
