Jaseem Thomas Obituary, Jaseem Thomas of Elmwood Park as died after being shot multiple times

The injuries sustained by a teen who was shot in the city’s Elmwood Park area in April have proved fatal.

Slain Jaseem Thomas – Approximately 6:22 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, shots were fired along the 2200 block of South 67th Street.

Thomas was shot several times and suffered wounds to his head and body as a result of the encounter. He was brought to the hospital, where he received care from doctors and nurses.

Officials said he was rushed to a neighboring hospital, and despite his grave condition, they say he is receiving care from the facility’s doctors and nurses.
