Luther Hezzie Tyner Dies & Shanna Throckmorton injured in motorcycle crash in Cumberland County.

The rider killed in a motorbike accident in Cumberland County on Sunday has been identified as Luther Hezzie Tyner of Red Springs, North Carolina.

A multi-vehicle motorbike crash involving Tyner, 33, and his passenger, Dunn resident Shanna Throckmorton, 24, happened near Fayetteville on Sunday afternoon. Tyner was killed in the accident.

Tyner, according to accounts, was driving a Harley Davidson motorbike on Raeford Road near Two Bale Lane when it collided with Michael Beasley, 60, of Raeford, who was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Tyner was taken to a local hospital, where doctors later declared him dead.

Throckmorton was brought in in good health.

Second, there was Daniel Felix, 34, of Fayetteville, was driving a Harley when it collided with the pickup but was able to maintain control.

Investigations into what caused the accident are still ongoing.
