Matthew Steven Price Found Dead on the tracks in Union

The body discovered on train tracks in Union County on Tuesday has been identified as Matthew Steven Price of Union, South Carolina.

On the tracks in Union, Matt Price, 32, was discovered dead on Tuesday morning.

Authorities reportedly responded to reports of a body on the tracks late Tuesday morning in Union, close to Short Street and Monarch Highway.

At the site, Price’s death was confirmed.

There was no mention of a cause of death.

There is an investigation going on.

To aid in the investigation, an autopsy is planned. Additionally, the Norfolk Southern Railway is looking into the fatality.
