Jay Justice full name James (Jay) C. Justice, III, is a Virginia Tech graduate who runs the Justice family’s coal and agriculture operations Jay is the son of Governor Jim Justice of the Justice Companies, Bluestone Resources, and Bluestone Coke.

Jim Justice and Cathy Comer Justice met in high school and later got married in 1976, which is almost 47 years now. They have two children. Justice and his wife are members of First Baptist Church in Beckley, a congregation of the American Baptist Churches USA.
