Patsy Cline was an American singer whose birth name was Virginia Patterson Hensley and born on September 8, 1932 and died on March 5, 1963, at the age of 31 years.

She had several significant hits during her eight-year recording career, including two number-one hits on the Billboard Hot Country and Western Sides chart. She is regarded as one of the most influential vocalists of the 20th century and was one of the first country music artists to transition into pop music.

Cline has two children a son and a daughter and has been identified as Julie Dick and Randy Dick. We do not have much information about them.

However, Cline was married twice. Her first marriage was to Gerald Cline, on March 7, 1953. His family had owned a contracting and excavating company in Frederick, Maryland. According to Cline’s brother Sam, he liked “flashy cars and women.” The two met while she was performing with Bill Peer at the Moose Lodge in Brunswick, Maryland.

Cline married her second husband Charlie Dick on September 15, 1957. The pair met in 1956 while Cline was performing with a local Virginia band. At the time, Dick was a linotype operator for a local newspaper, The Winchester Star. He with whom she had her two children.
