Philadelphia Police Officer, Lynneice Hill Died In Patrol
Police in Philadelphia have named the officer who passed away after being discovered unconscious in her police cruiser on Friday evening.
Police revealed on Saturday that the deceased officer was Lynneice Hill, 44, a 24-year department veteran.
Following Hill’s passing, Philadelphia FOP President John McNesby issued the following statement:
“We mourn the unexpected demise of devoted police officer Lynneice Hill with heavy hearts. 24 years of exemplary service to this city were provided by our friend and coworker. We offer prayers for Officer Hill’s loved ones, close friends, and Philadelphia police department coworkers.
The FOP will always remember her commitment to the police force and her contributions to the community.
The 1800 block of South Columbus Boulevard is where witnesses reportedly discovered Hill unconscious at roughly 9 p.m., according to Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw.
After being taken urgently to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, she was declared dead.
Hill reportedly experienced a medical problem while on duty, but more information was not immediately available.
Smith admitted to Action News that his wife was a rock star and served as his personal chef, shopper, designer, and chef.
When Hill assisted a charity in 2021 in delivering groceries to families dealing with cancer, Action News was there.
She claimed at the time that helping others made her happy and that this was a virtue she shared with her family.
Action News was also present in 2020 when Smith made Christmas morning deliveries of food and toys to families.

Smith admitted to Action News that his wife handled all of the Christmas shopping every year.
He claimed she was a lovely person on the inside and out, and he will miss her giving spirit more than anything.
