Philomen L. Henry Dies in fatal shooting in Schenectady

The woman who was discovered shot to death at a Crane Street apartment the previous day was recognized by city police on Tuesday.

According to authorities, Philomen L. Henry, 30, of 953 Crane St., died.

Police requested that anybody with information contact investigators at the department’s tips line, 518-788-6566, while the investigation into her death continued on Tuesday.

Just after 11 a.m. on Monday, when they went to the house of 953 Crane St. to check on someone’s wellbeing, police said they discovered Henry’s body.

When officers came, they discovered Henry and the wounded woman, according to the authorities. The Schenectady Fire Department personnel declared her deceased at the site.
