Rivver Cooper Dies in a Motorcycle Accident

22-Year-Old Motorcyclist Identified as Rivver Cooper: Tragic Accident in Cumberland County

In a saddening turn of events, the York County coroner has officially identified the 22-year-old motorcyclist who lost his life five days after a severe crash in Cumberland County.

The victim has been identified as Rivver Cooper, hailing from Shippensburg. According to York County Coroner Pamela Gay, Cooper was pronounced dead at Wellspan York Hospital at 2:28 p.m.

Tragically, Cooper’s passing was attributed to accidental causes, resulting from multiple blunt force head injuries. The incident occurred on August 2 when Cooper collided with a tree at approximately 12:48 p.m. The crash happened in the vicinity of Furnace Hollow and Gutshall roads in Southampton Township. It’s notable that Cooper was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

While an autopsy was not performed, a standard toxicology test was performed to acquire further information about the events. The incident is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police from the Carlisle barracks.

According to his LinkedIn page, Rivver Cooper was an ambitious guy pursuing a criminal justice degree at Shippensburg University. He also worked at Abraxas Youth & Family Services as a youth development specialist.
