American television hosts, Sara Haines and Max Shifrin, welcomed their first child, a son, Alec Richard, in 2016.

After three years of welcoming their first child, Haines and Shifrin welcomed their next child, Sandra Grace.

Grace’s mother, Haines, started her career in the NBC Page Program. Her parents married in November 2014.

She weighed in at 7 lbs., 2 oz. at the time of birth. Sara announced the news of Sandra’s birth on Instagram. She wrote:

“She’s here!!! Today we met our little Christmas package— Sandra Grace Shifrin (named after my mom),”.

Haines gave birth to Alec Richard Shifrin at 1:52 p.m. on March 9, 2016, in New York City.

The baby, named after their fathers, weighed in at 7 lbs. and 5 ounces.

“We are excited, exhausted, and possibly still in shock, but soaking it all in,” she wrote. “Thank you for the encouraging words. It will take a village to raise this little man”, she wrote online.

Haines and Shifrin, who wed in November of 2014, reside in New York City.
