Sgt. William Cullen’s Obituary, Berkeley Township Police Department Mourns

The Sgt. William Cullen’s passing is being mourned by the Berkeley Township Police Department.

His department reported on Friday, February 17, that the former US Marine had served as a Berkeley Township PD officer for 22 years until his away “suddenly.”

In the beginning, Cullen worked in the patrol division, but in 2007, he was transferred to the detective bureau. General investigations, property and evidence, and Megan’s Law were among his responsibilities.

Cullen was renowned for his perseverance, compassion, and investigative skill. He was also well-liked and respected throughout the state.

Cullen received a promotion and was given the position of patrol supervisor in 2015. Cullen was a great value to everyone in this position because he was able to use his years of experience to mentor his officers.

We shall never forget his sense of humor and unwavering commitment.
