The body of Keniqua Dachelle King, 28, was found Tuesday near FM 521 and FM 1462, not far from the crash scene.

This week, the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office is looking into two deaths that may be related because they involve a romantic partner and a friend or acquaintance of the victim.
A young woman’s body was discovered in the area of FM 521 and FM 1462 in Rosharon late on Tuesday afternoon. There were multiple bullet holes in her body.
BCSO detectives eventually determined that the victim was Keniqua Dachelle King, 28.

They said King’s alleged boyfriend died in a car crash on FM 1462 on Monday night.
The BCSO reports that 19-year-old Traevon Lingard crashed his vehicle into an SUV carrying a mother and her two young children.
Both Lingard and the woman, Ann Cheatham, 53, were fatally shot and killed. Neither of the children, ages 13 and 10, suffered life-threatening injuries and were transferred to Texas Children’s Hospital.
BCSO said on Thursday afternoon, “This case is still under investigation and all avenues of the investigation are being explored.”
