Tiffany Jackson-Jones was an American basketball player and coach. She played professionally in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) for the New York Liberty, Tulsa Shock, and Los Angeles Sparks. She was later an assistant coach in college basketball for the Texas Longhorns women’s team.

Jackson attended Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas, where she played basketball and was named a WBCA All-American. She participated in the 2003 WBCA High School All-America Game where she scored four points.

Tiffany Jackson was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She had since battled the disease, taking doctors’ advice and taking her medications more importantly, however, she died Monday, October 3, 2022, at the age of 37.

She was hired as head coach at Wiley College in April. Tiffany Jackson was a three-time All-Big 12 selection and was voted the national freshman of the year by the U.S Basketball Writers Association in 2004.

She finished her Texas career ranked in the top five in career points, rebounds, and steals. She is the only Longhorns player to reach 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 300 steals, and 150 blocks in a career.

As of now, the grieving family is yet to release a statement announcing her burial date, funeral time, and venue. Any information from their camp shall be communicated to you.
