Alexandra Swe Wagner is an American journalist who was born on November 27, 1977.
She is the creator of FutureFace: A Family Mystery, an Epic Quest, and the Secret to Belonging (One World/Random House), as well as the host of Alex Wagner Tonight on MSNBC and the Netflix reboot of The Mole.
She has worked as a contributing editor for The Atlantic and a contributor for CBS News. She formerly held the positions of co-host of The Circus on Showtime and anchor of the daytime program Now with Alex Wagner on MSNBC from 2011 until 2015.
She served as a co-anchor on CBS This Morning Saturday from November 2016 to March 2018. Since April 2016, she has also served as senior editor of The Atlantic.
She started presenting Alex Wagner after filling in for The Rachel Maddow Show and All In with Chris Hayes on MSNBC. this evening, August 16, 2022.
