In an exclusive statement to People, she said, “My name is Tammie Frank, and my husband was Jason David Frank, who tragically lost his life to suicide just last week.” Though Jason’s name was recognized by many, our lives were very ordinary.

Tammie Frank told People that she was “shocked and devastated” to learn that the media had speculated about her husband’s death.
My spouse and I were working hard to fix our marriage. The news of his passing has shocked me just as much as it has everyone else,” she stated.
“To tell you the truth, I had no notion that Jason was thinking of ending things,” she continued. Although he had a history of mental illness and sadness, “I had no way of knowing what would happen that night,” she said.

She revealed that they “initially planned to separate” due to marital difficulties but were “in the process of reuniting” at the time.
Martial arts instructor Frank shared that she and her husband had struggled after the loss of their daughter Shayla a year ago.
