Tragedy Strikes: Tynesha Crawford, Expecting Twins, Fatally Shot in Milwaukee

In a heartbreaking incident just days before Thanksgiving, Tynesha Crawford, a 30-year-old mother of four expecting twins, was shot and killed at her apartment near the intersection of 33rd Street and Center Street in Milwaukee. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, leaving her family and the community in shock.

Tynesha Crawford’s family confirmed that she was expecting twins, adding an even more devastating layer to the tragedy. Milwaukee police swiftly took action, arresting 27-year-old Quran Robey in connection to two cases, including the murder of Tynesha Crawford.

While online court records show that Robey has not been criminally charged yet, a police search warrant provided insights into the allegations against him. The warrant connected Robey to a shooting at a gas station near 73rd Street and Capitol Drive on Saturday night, less than six hours before Crawford’s murder.

Surveillance footage from the gas station incident showed a 46-year-old man being shot by an individual identified as Robey. The search warrant indicated that Crawford, Robey’s girlfriend, was present during the gas station shooting.

Later, at the apartment, an argument between Crawford and Robey escalated, resulting in Crawford being shot six times. Tragically, Crawford’s 13-year-old daughter, Maniyah, and her three younger siblings were present in the apartment during the horrifying incident. Maniyah, who witnessed her mother’s final moments, courageously called 911 after the gunshots.

Maniyah spoke about the devastating loss, emphasizing the impact on her siblings and the unborn twins that Crawford was carrying. The family now grapples with the void left by Tynesha Crawford’s untimely death and the unborn lives lost.

As the investigation unfolds, the community expresses its support for Crawford’s family. A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated by Destiny Glenn, Crawford’s sister-in-law, to assist with funeral costs and support the four children left behind.
