Anthoine Hubert was the 2018 GP3 Series champion. Hubert is the first driver to pass away following an accident at an F1 race since Jules Bianchi passed away in 2014 from the wounds he received in Japan.

The horrific high-speed crash rocked the sport. Hubert was a Renault Sport Affiliated Driver competing for Aden, the British team. He was friends with several F1 racers, most notably Pierre Gasly, a fellow Frenchman.

The French driver died after a crash during the F2 Belgian Grand Prix at 160 mph (257 kph). In detail, he struck a wall at first and bounced back onto the track before Correa plowed into his side, leading to his tragic death.  Anthoine, a 22-year-old Frenchman from Lyon, was in the Renault academy.

Tonio Liuzzi was one of the early stars of the Red Bull driver academy who overtook Michael Schumacher on his F1 debut. Born on August 6, 1981, the 41-year-old Liuzzi is an Italian professional racer who competed in Formula One for the Red Bull, Toro Rosso, Force India, and HRT Teams.

Like many other auto racing athletes, Liuzzi began his career in karting at age nine. While in progress, he won the 1993 Italian Karting Championship, finished second in the 1995 Karting World Championship, and fifth in the European Championship. Born in Locorotondo, BA, Apulia, he won the Karting World Championship in 2001.

With 12.9K followers on Instagram, Tonio frequently posts on his Instagram, where he seems to enjoy his private life. Married to his wife, Vitantonio Liuzzi is now a restaurateur. He runs The Penelope, a mare restaurant with his wife.
