Succession season 3, episode 5 showed a deteriorating Sandy Furness amidst a tense shareholders meeting, but despite rumors of syphilis, the actual medical condition of Logan Roy ‘s arch-rival is still a mystery.
Sandy’s exact illness is unknown, although Waystar spread rumours of syphilis. In season 2 episode 6, Sandy looked unhealthy and Tom started the rumour with: “You don’t hear much about syphilis these days – very much the MySpace of STDs.” Fast forward to season 5, Stewy has labelled Sandy “the angriest vegetable.”
The fifth episode of Season 3 of Succession follows the Roy dynasty at the Waystar Royco annual shareholder meeting. The entire episode is one long anxiety attack — the Roys scramble to strike a deal with Stewy and Sandy because if they don’t, and the subject of ownership goes to a vote, the Roys would surely lose all control of the company.

Theough un-said, he most likely doesn’t want to ruin his sister’s wedding. Though he does not physically appear in the episode, it is Sandy who is in charge of the takeover for xxx. it is he who pushes to have the takeover had been on ship in Tom’s wedding day knowing Logan will be out of town.
