Andrew Ken Thomas, an offensive tackle with the National Football League’s New York Giants, was born on January 22, 1999. (NFL). For the first five weeks of his rookie season, Thomas started at left tackle. Because Thomas was late for a team meeting, Matt Peart was put on the bench for their Week 6 game versus Washington. He ultimately began the rest of the season at left tackle.

He attended Georgia University and was taken fourth overall by the Giants in the 2020 NFL Draft. During his true freshman season, Thomas started every game at right tackle, earning him the distinction of Freshman All-American. Thomas’ second season saw him switch to left tackle. He suffered a left ankle injury when playing South Carolina and was unable to participate in the Middle Tennessee game that followed. Thomas gradually resumed playing in the following two games, though he was need to wear a brace later in the season after re-injuring his ankle.
