Daisy Jessica Edgar-Jones is an English actress who was born on May 24, 1998. She began her career with the television shows War of the Worlds (2016-2020) and Cold Feet (2019–2021).

Daisy Edgar-Jones was raised in the London district of Islington. She is the daughter of Philip Edgar-Jones, a former director of Sky Arts and head of entertainment at Sky, and Wendy Edgar-Jones, a Northern Irish film editor who worked on Sharpe and the 1999 drama serial adaptation of Oliver Twist.

She debuted in a school production in Year 5. Before being accepted into the National Youth Theatre, she attended Woodhouse College and The Mount School for Girls. The Open University was used for her studies.

Edgar-Jones received more attention for her lead part in the miniseries Normal People (2020), for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and the British Academy Television Award. She acted in the financially successful mystery film Where the Crawdads Sing, the crime miniseries Under the Banner of Heaven, and the comedy-thriller Fresh in 2022.
