Who is Boonk Gang, what does the name mean and why was he arrested?

This guy is getting attention for all the wrong reasons, and if you know anything about him, you know he really likes her. Boonk Gang is a rapper and social media personality who has gained special recognition through the videos he posts online. In these videos, he usually does something stupid to cause a public nuisance, steal donuts from a store, or even commit a more serious crime.

Gang has repeatedly said on his videos and in interviews that the events in all of his videos are real. He was arrested for some of the stupid things he did, but that only made his recognition and following him stronger. He also released an official music video for his song It Has No Sense, where he glories in being on the streets and welcomes his incarceration with open arms.

Who is Boonk Gang?

Boonk Gang was born in 1997 and lives in Calabasas, Los Angeles. There is no information about his education or whether he attended school. There is also no information available regarding the identity of his family members.

Boonk whose real name is John Robert Hill lived an eventful life. Even though he knew the identity of his father, he never had anything to do with him, this man being absent from his life. He grew up with his mother and siblings in Jacksonville. Hill’s mother also had her own issues. The rapper has revealed in interviews that he has never seen his mother do drugs. However, he revealed that she suffered from sudden and unexpected fits of rage. At such times, she cried that she was going to kill herself or even kill her children while they were sleeping.

As a child, Boonk reveals that they moved around a lot, and never stayed in one place for long. He was either with a distant aunt or his mother, or with one of his mother’s friends, among others. This constant movement is what inspired him years later to tattoo the word “vagrant” on his face as a nod to his nomadic days.

Boonk lived on the streets for a while after his death. The mother kicked him out of the house. She would eventually move to Miami and leave him in Jacksonville. Boonk had a girlfriend at the time. He was shuttling between his aunt’s place and his girlfriend’s place. In 2014, Boonk’s girlfriend found out she was carrying his child and she unfortunately suffered a miscarriage. She would return later in September 2017.

A few years later, Boonk Gang contacted his mother and she allowed him to move in with her in Miami. It was here that the rapper decided to start something with social media. He opened an Instagram account, which he grew by following and unfollowing people until he reached 10,000 followers. His following continued to grow after he posted a video of himself stealing a box of fried chicken from a Popeyes Chicken restaurant. He quickly reached a million followers. Boonk celebrated the event by making a video of himself dipping milkshakes on his body at a Chik-Fil-A restaurant. He became an incredibly successful social media celebrity as he continued to create and post these crazy videos online.

Eventually, Boonk Gang took to music and decided to change their image. He wanted people to see him as an artist and not as a stuntman. This led him to make the decision to delete all of his Instagram posts from his days as a troublemaker.

Boonk didn’t start making money from his Instagram until he joined rapper Lil Pump’s management agency. Previously, Boonk Gang was a constant user of drugs, especially Xanax and Molly. The situation got so bad that even Lil Pump and his management were worried about him and his health.

A terrifying experience on the basketball courtIn November 2017, Gang decided to quit using drugs. He stayed sober for a few weeks but eventually relapsed. In February 2018, he weaned himself off drugs again after having brief seizures while recording in the studio.

Boonk released a lot of singles and videos to go along with them. Songs like MAkes No Sense, Facts, and Ventine are some of his most popular songs.

What does the name mean and why was it arrested?

Boonk “Robert” Gang’s mother is the one who gave him the name Boonk because he was in too much trouble due to his theft. The term “boonk” is an urban term for stealing or grabbing something or someone.

Gang didn’t grow up in a pit to make the house; it was hard to survive, so he started stealing out of necessity, as a way to get by. Boonk started taking clothes from stores if he ran out of clothes, he would steal snacks if he was hungry. He revealed years later that some of the times he was caught was because he went stealing more than necessary.

Eventually, Boonk’s mother had had enough. He was 17 years old. Boonk lived on the streets and continued to steal to survive. He started going to high-end stores and stealing high-end headphones, selling them at ridiculously low prices to students. He also used some of his money to buy candy – a local drug disguised as candy – and sell it as well. Boonk, at some point and with the help of a friend, also learned how to cash fraudulent checks, which earned him a total of $10,000.

Gang’s stunt videos often got him in trouble, even getting him arrested individually. He was arrested twice in the space of two months for theft and burglary at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Miami between May and July 2017.

On May 9, 2018, John “Boonk Gang” Hill was arrested at his Calabasas home. The police had been informed that a man was in possession of illegal narcotics and assault weapons. They came with a warrant to search his house, after which they arrested him. However, he was released and bailed the same day on a $35,000 bond. In total, the social media stuntman and rapper have been arrested more than four times.
