Who is Dan Schneider and what did he do? Abusive behavior explained

Anyone familiar with Nickelodeon in the past few years certainly knows the name, Dan Schneider. The TV producer and screenwriter has been the brains behind many TV shows including iCarly, Victorious, Sam and Cat, and Henry Danger, to name a few.

However, we can’t help but notice over the past few years that he cut ties with Nickelodeon, or is it the other way round?

This may come have come as a shock to many. After all, his shows led to the launch of many careers and it seemed that everyone loved him, especially the actors.

However, not everyone loved Dan Schneider.

To the rest of the viewing audience, he was a chubby and quite powerful man. To the people who worked for him, they saw a different side which had a notorious temper.

After his departure from Nickelodeon in 2018, reports and allegations began to surface about both his temper and suspicions over his interactions with minor actors and actresses.

As expected, both Nickelodeon and Schneider kept quiet. This, however, led observant viewers to do their own digging.

Some viewers accused him of having a foot fetish. This came after they noticed that female actresses in his shows were frequently in scenes involving their bare feet. In addition, at the time, he also went as far as posting photos of their feet on social media.

This wasn’t all as fans of the show were not done with their digging. dug up some concerning behind-the-scenes footage. One of such includes a photo of him sitting in a hot tub with a young Amanda Bynes.

While this may not seem like enough evidence to implicate him, we can all agree that sexualizing minors on television, is certainly not appropriate.
