Stephen Gerald Breyer is an American lawyer and judge who has been an associate member of the United States Supreme Court since 1994. President Bill Clinton nominated him.

He was born in San Francisco on August 15, 1938.

Breyer attended Stanford University, Oxford University, and Harvard Law School before graduating in 1964.
