Johann Ofner died on January 23, 2017, at the age of 28 due to an accident on set.
He was on a set while filming the music video of rap group Bliss n Eso when the incident happened.
The investigative police officer Detective Sergeant John Fleming revealed there were 4 guns on set that day, two blank handguns, an authentic shotgun, and a fake submachine gun.
Johann lost his life after the shotgun with blank ammunition was fired at him within a distance of 1.5m.
The stunt coordinator, Judd Wild disclosed that Johann wasn’t wearing and padding or protective vest because the person who fired the shotgun was told to aim to the side of him.
He added saying the bullet wasn’t supposed to any direction near him. And if they knew such a horrific incident would have occurred they wouldn’t have performed the stunt in the first place.
