A video of a probable suspect wanted in connection with the double homicide investigation of billionaire couple Barry and Honey Sherman from 2017 has been released by Toronto police.
Bernard Charles “Barry” Sherman, CM, was the chairman and CEO of Apotex Inc., a Canadian pharmaceutical company.
Sherman was the 12th wealthiest individual in Canada, according to Forbes, with a net worth of US$3.2 billion at the time of his death.
According to another journal, Canadian Business, his net worth is CAN$4.77 billion, making him Canada’s 15th richest man.

Sherman married Honey Reich, a fellow U of T graduate of Austrian descent, the daughter of Holocaust survivors from Poland in 1971.
Lauren, Alexandra, and Kaelen were four children: three daughters, Lauren, Alexandra, Kaele, and a son, Jonathon.
Sherman was known to his friends and family as a workaholic, even though he mingled with Honey daily. She was more open at the social occasions they attended, while he kept to himself and only talked about his enterprises.

The suspect in the killings of Toronto billionaires Barry and Honey Sherman has been identified.
According to police, the unidentified person was recorded on a security camera near the Shermans’ multimillion-dollar Toronto mansion when the murders occurred in December 2017.
Police have searched through hours of camera footage in connection with the murders but have been “left with one suspect” they cannot identify, according to Homicide Det. Sgt. Brandon Price.
The person in the videos identifies the unknown.
Price said the security video was taken in the “evening or night hours of December 13, 2017”.
Price suggested the public should pay close attention to the person’s stride to see if it might help identify the perpetrator. According to him, the suspect’s right foot is kicked up with each step.
The suspect’s skin color, weight, and gender are unknown. However, according to video analysis, the person is between 5’6 and 5’9.

Barry, 75, founded and owned Apotex, Canada’s largest generic medicine company. He and his 70-year-old wife Honey were devoted benefactors.
Their bodies were discovered four years ago in their north Toronto home’s basement swimming pool area. Initially suspected to be a murder-suicide, the killings were subsequently probed as a targeted double-homicide.
Homicide detectives’ statement and information release Toronto police disclosed information to the media for the first time in nearly four years on Tuesday.
Only once before, on January 26, 2018, six weeks after the deaths were discovered, did police hold a press conference to give information.
Susan Gomes, the then-head of the Sherman investigation, told the public that they had come to the conclusion that the Shermans had been the victims of a double homicide following an intensive analysis of the evidence.
