Jonnie Irwin accident: What happened to Jonnie Irwin on A Place in the Sun?

Jonnie Irwin has spoken up about a terrible accident he suffered while working as the host for the Channel 4 program A Place in the Sun.

Earlier this year, the TV personality appeared on the daytime program Steph’s Packed Lunch to discuss how he broke his nose while filming in Spain by slamming through a patio door.

“Most people, with a few notable examples, clean their houses within an inches of their lives and this couple was no different,” he said.

We were filming out in Spain, and the proud owner was outside before each house I go and make sure I know where everything is and I thought ‘I just need another poke at that garden’ just so I know what I’m talking about before they get in there.”

Although it appears like Jonnie is always busy on the show, his lovely family must take priority over A Place in the Sun and Escape to the Country. The television personality is a father of three twin boys Cormac and Rafa as well as his oldest son Rex.
