Barbara was an actress who was known for The Andy Griffith Show in 1960. She was previously married to Andy Griffith. Barbara and Griffith met in college where Andy was working his way to a bachelor of music degree, while Barbara Edwards was a soprano and fellow Chapel Hill classmate. Griffith graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in music in 1949 and married Barbara. Close family members and friends only attended the wedding ceremony.
